    Need a project...L245DT

That puppy need some PSI all around too! It would be a good project at that price - might be a bit hard to get parts for a 40+ year old tractor if needed.

    Throttle moves on its own

I like Chim's idea - there should be a friction plate and "nuts" that needs to be tightened a bit

    BX2380 rear ballast weight

I agree with Jay - a variable usage tool on the back is a great idea. I did that for a long time. To make the concrete ballast "box" will require many of the same materials to make a carry-all. Then gather up some 5 gallon bucks and pour the concrete in them- each bucket if full will hold...

Am I too OCD or should I flush/clean my SQ480 gearbox?

I am with Dan - fill and replace oil until it clears up. On the vent is it possible to fix the old vent? or can the top of the vent be fixed? Looking at drawing there is a cap - can the underside be cleaned so that it will work?

    Wanted B6100 Front Wheel Weights

You do not want weights on the front wheels - you want weight on the front end - bumper Weight on the front tires/rims will affect steering - something you do not want.

B6100, D650 engine hot oil pressure question

IF you are starting in weather below freezing then the move to 5w-40 may be warranted - but the PSI will drop a bit once it gets real hot - not that the little bit it drops will be much. You are using a synthetic blend - moving to a lower viscosity will not change much, again IN cold - that is...

B6100, D650 engine hot oil pressure question

Yes - that is pretty typical. Answer the following: COLD - at idle, what does it read? 50+ psi After working hard, as in the coolant is closer to 210 and after an hour of work, what is the PSI at lowest idle - I would imagine it is under 20 - which is still fine. I think everything is fine...

    ECU Fuse Blows

Somehow you are pulling too many sustained amps. IF you have checked the wiring - there must be a dead short somewhere.. First - when your tractor is running - what is the voltage at the battery? I would hope it would be 14 ish. SO - if the tractor is not running - disconnect the leads to the...

B2150 after rain in exhaust issue. Most likely problem?

What should I see for compression cold? You hope for something in mid 400 psi range You want to get to 325 psi across all cylinders for absolute low end - lower than those, time to re-work engine.
