    PTO Noise while disengaging

It has just started and is continuous everytime I engage the PTO. What is involved with a new one way clutch. I don't think it was ever run with it not fully engaged, is there a way to tell. Usually the the locking nuts on the PTO cable eventually loosen off and it won't engage at all.

    PTO Noise while disengaging

Hi, PTO functions properly with no load. Under load ( bush hog ) sounds like it does when you initially disengage PTO (ticking) .I have just replaced the PTO cable and it appears to be correctly tensioned. Any Thoughts? edit----- So it seems its the overrunning clutch, which makes noise when...

    L3400 fuel issue

So after the tank was drained I have a good flow of fuel, filter housing removed and inlet port cleaned everything is working as it should. Apparently the only way a fuel filter comes now from the dealer in Ontario anyway is complete with housing, so that would have solved the second issue...

Yes, fuel flows nicely now. But I think I need to invest in a scope to look into the tank now that its been emptied

    L3400 fuel issue

Def different filter housing, the only thing left is the inlet port so ill try cleaning that first. Air backwards to blow out the port was suggested. Any issues with that ?

    L3400 fuel issue

Super thx. thought there was a one way valve in there that stops fuel flow when off for filter replacement . Didn't know if cleaning it would ruin the valve.

    L3400 fuel issue

Unfortunately clearing the line and the tank did not fix the issue. Fuel flows nicely from the tank but same issue at startup: fuel bowl slow to fill and quick to empty. My thought is the only thing I have not changed is the the fuel filter housing. Are those able to be cleaned or should I just...

    L3400 fuel issue

I'm just outside of Ottawa. Ill post pics after I clear snow......by hand ..... The fuel bowl takes 10 sec or so to refill. Tank appears to have a line off the bottom right side that enters the filter housing from the left. Im assuming that is the fill line and not the one that attaches from...

    L3400 fuel issue

Hi all, new here! My 2005 L3400 with 600 hrs is acting up. It's hard to start and acts like its starved of fuel. I changed the fuel filter, bled the lines as per the manual. Starts then runs for a few minutes and the fuel level goes to bottom of filter, engine dies, fuel then refills to top of...
