I looked for a used 271 or 272 for for my B7300 for a couple years before I decided on a new 272. I have zero regrets paying what might have been an extra grand tat the most. The install was top notch, integrates well with my front snow blower mount, a warranty, and they gave me a front to rear tune-up for free. For what you might save on a used one, I don't believe it justifies the potential problems you could encounter.

K.P. Thank you for your response. I have been pondering a new LA272 as well and I have contacted my local dealer. They quoted me $4500 for the loader with install, which I think is a bit steep. I've been looking for other options but nothing viable at the moment. I'm glad that yours has been working out well for you!

WOW! $4,500 is pretty high. I paid $3,750 including Grill Guard, installation, taxes, pickup, and delivery. And that's in the NW suburbs of Chicago. Are there other Kubota dealers you can check? How about other FEL products? My neighbor has a color matched Woods Loader on his Kubota B7500 and uses the heck out of it. I don't know what he paid but he said it cost less than Kubota brand.
