I found a good price on a Landpride 60" box blade, but not certain if the BX23S can handle it. Should I go with the 60" or the 48"? Thinking of getting the large rocks up to the surface to York rake them away. thanks

I think I would stay with the 48 - it covers the rear wheels - it is lighter and will do the same amount of work without stopping you in your tracks.

And as mentioned before - do get those rear tires loaded ;)

I have the 48 inch for my bx23s and I can easily load it down too much and bog the tractor. I have 7/8 mile of gravel driveway. Loaded rear tires also.

Makes me wonder why the Landpride chart includes the 60" box blade in the list of applicable tractors. Been thinking about it overnight, and I am thinking that a land plane might be just as good with the rippers doing the part of the job that I need done. Getting the rocks to the top.

why ? simple.... IF you're moving lightweight material, you can use a wider unit. I had a 6' front bucket on one tractor rated for 4'6" (54") BUT I was moving 'mulch' (dry wood chips),so I need volume not weight.

Buy a bigger tractor!
Isn't the BX23S what Hagrid considers to be just a lawn mower?:ROFLMAO:

I wouldn't MY BX23S is a TLB that has an OPTION for a MMM !
Which I didn't buy as MY BX23S is a TLB...

By the 'H-terminology', ALL 'tractors' that have a MMM must be 'lawn mowers'....

Hagrid comment that MMM = "lawnmower",.....makes complete sense to me!
