Since we're talking about yellow:

Does washing your new Cat that was delivered overnight and discovering it's really a Kubota count? (NC residents especially will get that)

Onan moving day.. took all my parts machines and a few of the gasoline generators I don't plan to use and the l2501 gave them a lift to my 20 foot container.

The one cart with the onan jb generator, spare onan cck engine and 8 or so onan j series cylinder heads has gotta weigh close to 1000 pounds.. had to put the 72 inch box blade on for counter weight

Did the 600 hour maintenance items today - clock hit 600h 9 hours ago.

I had just put 14 hours on the clock over 2 days helping a neighbor remove an old concrete foundation wall from her yard and re-levelling it roughly back into shape. The about 40ft of 30"h x 8-9" thick rebar reinforced wall surrounded an old building-brick paved patio space, and the bricks had to go too. There were concrete filled cinder blocks mixed in under there to boot.
What an excellent workout for the BH77, loader and forks! Did it all very well, just had a few large NOT-rotten chunks of concrete wall slow me down trying to crack them into smaller pieces with the BH bucket teeth and thumb. Got it done! And loaded onto a local firewood dealer's big dumper trailer for a trip to landfill.

How much fuel for 14 hours, mostly 2500rpm and working hard? Do you ask?

I couldn't believe it either.

One 20 litre jug of diesel.

Nice.

737 - you must be from Connecticut, Massachusetts or New Jersey.... 🤔

Everyone round these parts knows the diff between NH and JD yellow.....

JD is more "yellow" than NH...Cat is more orangy, and Prarie Gold belongs to Minneapolis Moline....

Just poking fun - - I know you're from NJ...

Your mower deck looks absolutely awesome! (y)

You're a great neighbor!

We had 3 feet of light snow overnight in mid-December. I did 4 driveways, plus mine that morning with my BX and 50" front-mount snowblower.

Probably 5 hours working the tractor full-out...WOT. That thing worked really hard.

I put about 3 gallons of fuel in it afterwards...impressive how little it burned..

Bought a 48" grapple and a 5" disc harrow (used - for hunting land). Ordered a Summit Third Function Kit. Looking like some work to be done this summer....

If if got dirty he would prolly wash it.
Hey, let's not knock washing! I just washed off mine yesterday for the 1st time this year. Little chance for a real freeze now so I opened the outdoor sillcocks.
No salt on my driveway but I accumulated a whole lot of mulch and wood chips in every nook and cranny.

Finished cleaning up deck. Changed gearbox, etc.

Doesn’t hold a candle to B737’s job, but got some junk out from the spindles.

I wasn’t smart enough to have a new belt on hand. Need to mow shortly, so hopefully it’ll last another year.

Spray some Pam on the under side of the deck to keep it clean.
I’ve heard that many times for mowers and blowers.

Never tried it, but I’m not sure if I can do that...my farmer buddies might laugh at me...

I wanted to mention I used Zep Industrial Purple Degreaser on the top of the deck. $10 for a gallon of concentrate. Worked very well.

Thinking it will work well on the ‘Moline too. ...

@RCW that came out great, it's ready for the showroom! Although the mower deck would have to go to the deere section or maybe half deere, half kubota :p

I finished one side of replanting the top of our driveway. Can't imagine doing this without the Kubota - as I wouldn't do it without it.

First I used the FEL to remove dead bushes (thanks deer), stones and sticks. I planted a total of 25 pieces including 8 nice sized boxwoods. The post hole digger with a 12" auger did most of the digging.

Then I moved the mulch from a central pile and dropped small loads in different areas so the raking was easy.

Today I added the border and brought over some additional mulch to fill it in.

My kind of project - I can work at my own pace and do small parts at a time. In fact, I used it as work breaks. I work from home now and doing this is R&R for my head and some decent exercise...

When the mulch is wet or damp it is almost black and turns dark brown when dry. The small evergreen near the mailbox is a survivor. Its been nailed by my former snow plow guy twice. Most broke off but this piece is hanging on. I just can't replace it.
