To make a short story long.... I bought a V1505 on ebay looking to get more parts around here, mainly needing the flywheel and bellhousing. Being in the second day of a two day trip, when I got to where the engine was, I just wanted to get it loaded and finish the trip. I had been out of state for three weeks.
The head was all ready off the engine. We pulled the flywheel and bellhousing and I put these items on the front passenger floor of my 1998 Lumina along with my 70lb. tool box. We put the short block in the trunk as far forward as possible. I then put my six, 6 ton jacks and some other tools back in. The car rode and drove fine the way it was loaded.
I didn't notice it was a V2203 until after I got it unloaded. Turned out the head was cracked besides having a valve seat come out. Every thing else looks ok. Hey Vic, are there any other heads that will fit this engine?
