Take a look at the intake side of the turbo. Possible bad oil seal feeding oil to the cylinders.

Do any fault codes appear on instrument panel? I'll guess common-rail electrical problem.

Now I’m leaning towards an issue with the governor. Not familiar with your engine but I assume it’s a mechanical governor?

My guess from viewing M108X parts catalog is that engine speed(rpm's) is electronically controlled because I located no mechanical governor in PC

Hard to tell from the brief and short replies from the OP. Doesn't sound like a true run away. A run away isn't gradual. Not in my experience. Unless you call 5 seconds gradual.
If he or she was a little more engaged it may help. Video is a real easy thing these days.

when baling and the throttle is set after about an hour rpm starts climbing.
You can cut the throttle back but it keeps climb till the redline.
once it cools down it acts right again for a while

Is the throttle lever actually physically moving?

Could it be "vibration" making it creep up?

Sounds more 'computer' related that mechanical. Locate whatever 'computer' boxes there are and blow ALL the dust, dirt, mud far,far away. 'Baling' is a dusty operation !
When electronic parts get warm or hot, they can change their value. That changes signal to computer, and bad things can happen.
The fact that 'when it cools down it's fine' was my clue.

Oil getting past rings as it heats up? A compression test cold versus hot could rule this out.

Sure sounds like a fuel supply issue, too much as opposed to the more typical too little. If the oil level is not decreasing, it sounds like electronic gremlins.
