I keep missing out on good tractors. Here is another. As stated it's a 1995 L3600DT GST with LA680 FEL. It has a 7ft box scrape. 1600 hours. It does have the canopy with it and the teeth on the bucket which is a QA. He's asking $13,500

I about forgot. I am looking at lifting 1300 to 1500 lb pallets off of tractor trailer once a year with this besides yard work. I usually receive 2 pallets each time so it should not get overworked. From what I have seen, this should do the job.

You might want to look at a larger tractor and loader.
The LA680 won't lift that much, it's rated at 1496 at the pin and will drop to around 955lbs at 19.5 inches forward and even less at the tip of forks.

What size do you recommend?

I was figuring 1500 lbs as the water on the pallets that I get is 1300 lbs and I was figuring 200 lbs. for the QA pallet forks.

Is there a way to see how much the FEL can actually lift?
Yea, load a pallet and something heavy (1500lbs) with you in the bead of a truck and see if it will lift it. ;)
