My son bought 3 swine shine hog lights. So far we haven't gotten
much use out of them. They use 8 AA batteries. I finally found a
Question and answer site and it stated that they have a weather
Resistant ABS housing and it is not recommended to leave them
Outside. I don't believe I ever saw this before. My question is has
anyone used any of these and have they gotten any use out of them.
So far I've never seen one come on when I had hogs. I changed the
Batteries out, go into a dark room and make motion. Nothing, right at
the moment I could probably be enticed to sell them pretty cheap.

My Son's father-in-law bought a couple of trail cams from Cabala's a couple years ago and had a problem with them not taking pictures when he could see the deer go right past the cameras. It turned out that the sensor that trips the camera shutter was out of alignment with the direction that the camera was aimed. There was nothing that could be done by him to change that so he took the cameras back to the store for a refund. At the time, the salesman said that was a common problem with that model camera. Maybe you have the same type problem with your lights.
