Anyone fabricate or buy a shade canopy for their L tractor? I'm looking at a Tuff-top or something similar. I know, they're branch magnets. That's why I thought the flexible Tuff-top might work better than a fiberglass one or a sheet metal one I fab myself.

I noticed on Craigslist by me someone was selling golf cart tops for a reasonable price. I think that would be perfect.
I was considering the sam thing and looking into having a canvas shop make one like a bimini for a boat that could collapse and stow when I want to.

I like the aluminum canopies. I've had one on my smaller tractor for about 5 yrs. I mow around trees with overhanging limbs and sometimes bump them. There are 2 dents in the canopy, but I'd think plastic or fiberglass would have cracked.
Here's mine. Made about 12 years ago. Never took it off, but would come off in minutes. The string is on the front and back because I had it on a trailer going down the road and it raised up. Put the string on and never removed it. The metal is from a Jeep CJ5 top frame. Had local shop put material on frame.
