I'm wondering what your experiences are with these models. I'm looking at a used rhino turbo 72 finish mower for $1500. I can get a new woods or bush hog for around $2200 for a 60". I've never owned a rhino. Thanks

No experience with the brands listed, but 22 years with 60" decks (Cub LoBoy, Ford 1210 & Kubota B7500) and the last 2 years with a 72" deck on the L3200. The 72" deck reduced mowing time more than simple math might indicate. The same 2+ acres of grass cutting went from around 75 minutes with any of the three previous tractors to 45 minutes with the 72" deck.

My experience with Rhino is with their rear blade - and it is one heavy duty son of a gun. By reputation, their turbo 72 is top of the line. New cost is $2600, but there are used ones on the internet for $800 - $1500. If it is in good shape, I would save the $$ and get the Rhino, but any of the three are quality products. The dealers like Land Pride, because they can get product and parts readily, and they don't end up with disgruntled customers.

It looks to be in good shape. He's had it for sale for a while now but won't budge lower than $1500. It looks to be in great condition. I had just never used a rhino product and wondered how getting parts and info from them was.

Rhino is an established company - in it for the long haul. Owners and Parts Manuals are available on their website. Parts are available through them, or all over the internet. The deck weighs 655lbs - more than my Cub Cadet 60" zt mower! I'd go for the used Rhino over a brand new deck from our local farm supply.

Rhino does make some very well made implements, and you shouldn't go wrong buying it! ;)

Got my new rhino mower home today. Greased, lubed and did maintenance check. This thing is a hoss of a mower. Sounds like a jet engine and cuts amazing. Thanks for the advice on purchase. I did find my local Massey fergusson dealer is a rhino dealer as well. $2800 new.
