I suspect that there are numerous other threads out there on this subject - but I'm going to ask it again. My apologizes...

I'm looking for a rear (back) blade for my L3800 that will be used to clean up snow - along with my FEL. I'm looking for a 7 ft blade that is GOOD QUALITY that is in the price range of about $500 to $600. Tilt capability is not crucial - nor is off-set features - but it would be nice to have them.

Based upon what you're using now - what would you recommend ??

Thanks.

The heavier, the better!

Don't undervalue the off set feature, real handy to have.
Also look for a blade which spins 360 degrees.
Pick a blade which allows you to reverse and replace the cutting edge.

I like my King Kutter!

Gotta disagree with the King Kutter blade. I have an 84" one and the design is not good - example, the pin to set the blade angle is ends up with it being easily bent (and thus stuck). Also - the welds broke etc (all while plowing snow). I'd go with "ya get what ya pay for" - look at LandPride.

We have gone through some blades and will now only go with Woods, Landpride or Rhino.

I've had a Land Pride RB1584 for 3 years without any problems. I use it for snow removal and grading a gravel road. I have to admit that there have been times that I wished I had the offset feature and occasionally the tilt feature. When removing snow from a gravel road with deep ditches, it would be nice to be a little further away from the edge of the shoulder!!!!

I have a woods 60" and love it. The B7001 can handle it and since I have no downpressure the weight of the unit is all the bite I have.
Mine is old, but looks great and has all I need but off set capability. Pis are good and strong and it spins all around and tilts off of horizontal.
