I hadn't noticed prior to today, but when the mid PTO is engaged, I would occasionally get a strange tapping noise coming from the ROPS. After messing with PTO lever, I found if I pulled it back towards mid/rear PTO gate just a little, it would engage rear PTO while still in mid PTO gate. The noise was rear PTO gear teeth trying to engage while mid PTO was running. I couldn't find any way to adjust the gates or linkage, so I took off the longest of linkage rods and gave each end a small bend to take them past 90 degree bends. This helped shorten linkage OAL by just enough to keep it in mid PTO engagement without it trying to engage rear PTO. I will see how long this works, but may have to put more of a bend in rod or find a way to move the lock out gate farther forward in the future.
