Hi everybody,
my 2014 B1820 isn't equipped with power steering. The later models until 2017 had power steering. The 1820 with power steering has a combined hydraulic pump (for the 3ph and the steering) and a powersteering group under the steering column.
My plan is to get these parts and exchange them with the existing parts of the manual steering. The combined hydraulic pump is quite expensive (so is the powersteering Group ) and now I am thinking of using a priority valve to actuate the powersteering group.
Has anyone an idea if this is possible and could work? I think it would be a little cheaper because I could save the money for the new hydraulic pump.
Anybody an input on this?
Regards, Michael
