Looking for the Plastic (Nylon)? Cap,* that is used* to seal Hydraulic/Transmission fluid reservoir fill port it is located at the rear of tractor slightly above the PTO Cover (Shield).* I can not locate it in the Kubota illustrated parts list Online, mine has been cross threaded.* I do not know what Kubota calls this threaded plug* in the Operators Manual it is referred to as a Oil inlet. ??*
Looking for a part number AND what Kubota Calls this item ?*

Is there an alternative that I can use for replacing this plastic cap Wouldn’t a metal Cap not be so easy to cross thread ?

Is there a fix for this like a metal plug or ?? Thanks

When asking about parts, don't just give a general "I need a Threaded plug for an M", it's like saying I need plugs for a truck.
You might end up with way wrong info, so give complete model info.

I'm going to assume that it's for M5140?
If it's not then the part number could be wrong.

Plug
P/N 38240-21410
O-ring
P/N 04816-50300

They have made them out of plastic for many a year, it's better to mess up the threads on a cheap replaceable cap than it is to mess up the threads on an expensive housing.
If you think you'll strip it again, buy 2. ;)
