Guys

Here is a crazy question I'm sure.

Is the oil in HST transmission and the rest of hydraulic system the same type?

Thank you

Thanks for the reply.

So if you overfill the reservoir which is the best drain plug to remove the excess oil?

Not familiar with your model and the plugs......but any of them will lesson the oil in the system.

How much over are you? ounces? pints? worse?;)

Roughly 1" above the recommended fill line on the dip stick located between your feet while seating in the operators seat.

Have a big bucket!
There is no recommended fill line, rather there is a range so make sure your 1” above the upper limit mark prior to draining. Also I’m not sure on the taper of the internals but it takes a little more than 2 quarts to go from the lower limit to the upper limit mark and that’s 1/2”-3/4”. So 1” above that could be a lot of fluid.
