I picked up my new ROPS today. Got it from the dealer for $100.07 total. Started the install tonight, pretty simple. I also had to make a new shaft for the lift arms to mount on. I will post a pic when I finish it tomorrow.

With the Kubota incentives, my dealer charged me over $200 for the ROPS. Count your blessings and keep a good relation with that dealer. Some, like mine, are out for getting blood from a turnip.

Just looked at my records- I paid $221 three years ago. :mad:
I guess I'm a turnip too.

If I recall, with the ROPS program for the B7100, actual unit was a great price for me too. Then the dealer adds in the shipping charges. Which were not cheap due to it's weight.

Leafy England....
You guys over the big pond are really lucky:eek::) with ROPS , in the UK, unless your older kubota has a ROPS allready fitted you have a zero chance of getting a new from Kubota, a few less than ideal third party ones around and occasional second hand ones come up on ebay(less than ideal):(

You guys are so lucky...:cool::)

From what I could find on the web the cost was going to be $148. I talked to the dealer about it, he ordered it up and my cost was $100.07 total, including shipping and handling. Also came with a seat belt assembly. Seamed to cheap to me. Picked it up yesterday and finished installing it this afternoon.

Kinda pisses me off…. your dealer charges you a lot less, and lets you install it yourself…. my stealer charges a lot more, refuses to let me install it because I'm "not qualified", then Fs up the installation, which I have to correct.
I need to move to another state with a better dealer.

Wow, I had to pay the shipping charges, but they never said anything about installation. I'm on my own there.

As it turns out with my ARPS backhoe subframe and my Sims softside cab frame it's not so compatible as designed. For now it is sitting on the floor of my storage shed, til I figure out how to mount it with everything installed.

I'm glad I grew up when there wasn't the rops. We all worked the sidehill vineyards with narrow tractors and survived.

When I almost tipped over my excavator when I caught the rops on a tree limb, I took it off. I can't take the one totally off my M5400 because the fenders mount to it. Before I catch that one on a tree I'll take the top half off.
