It's hard to say when new models will be announced. There is a history of the different models and when they were introduce on the Kubota web-site. Go to kubota.com and click on products then click on prior products. You will need to select the series that you are looking for. This will tell you how long an older model was out there before a new one was introduced. But it is no guarantee that a new model will be introduced in the same time frame. There are too many variables.
As far as changes go, yes, newer models will hopefully have the old troubles fixed, but that doesn't mean new problems won't exit. They will no doubt have new features as well. Whether they are worth the wait, nobody knows for sure. It's what keep folks trading in their used ones.
