B7500HST LA302 FEL 5'Finish Mower B5100E 46" Snow Plow 22 ton splitter
I needed 3 new blade adaptors for my mower deck and Kubota wanted $79.00 each so I decided that I would fabricate my own, Personally I think the ones I have fabricated are better than the stock ones, I have included a few pics below, The old rusty blade adapter was made from 1/8" steel and as you can see it was not very sturdy, The new adaptors are made of 3/16" and are more robust, Total cost for 3 new adaptors was about 1/2 the cost of 1 new one from Kubota.
Hubs from Surplus Center
1" hubs 3 @ $4.00 = $12.00 plus $10.00 shipping Total $22.00
1 - 10" piece of 3/16" plate steel bent to fit blade then cut into 3 sections apx 3 1/4" long cost $20.00 from my local machine shop
I took photos before welding the hubs to the blade adaptors, I just finished welding them up and putting everything back together. To keep the nuts from spinning off I used castle nuts with cotter pins.
