Drove for about 7 hours today, but it was worth it i hope. I brought home a 1994 b7100 hst 4x4 with 1015 on the ticker. Looks good and runs good, but the forward pedal kept sticking. I have found that the "neutral holder arm" according to the manual has a lot of side to side play in it causing the bearing that is connected to it to slip off of the "neutral holder". I hope that makes sense to someone. Any ay my question is, do I need a new "neutral holder arm" or just a new bushing that holds that dude in place. I dont want to take it apart until i have what i need in hand and I'm gonna be stopping at the dealer tomorrow to get fluids and filters and would like to tell them what I need. I'm not sure the guys up there are gonna be super familiar with this old girl. I'm excited about the addition and once I get what I want done to it ii will try to post some pics. Thanks for the help and any advice!! I hope I can contribute in the future.

I would explain the problem to the parts counter man or the service manager, they should be able to steer you in the right direction. The parts man will have a diagram of the particular parts the computer.

Plenty of B7100's were in production and 1994 is a newer model. No reason why he should have issues getting parts from a dealer. I have a who knows what year B6100 and I have no problems at all getting parts from my dealer. Somethimes they may not have it in stock and have to order it and within a few days its in.
I'm gonna stop in and give them a shot today. What about these pitiful headlights, someone has to have ran into these before. There has to be a better solution. I've done some research and there is slot of talk about the "dynamo" which I've figured out is the alternator. But some say it is too weak to add extra lighting, and that it struggles with even a headlight replacement. I'm not sure I follow this. Any input on this?
Your tractor doesn't have a water pump- the belt driven device where a water pump normally would be is the dynamo. It doesn't put out much, so some folks have installed an automobile alternator for more juice. You should be able to find some posts if you do a search. I don't drive my tractor at night- the stock headlights have been fine for me.
I agree with Eric- depending on how much your dealer stocks, and how effecient they are, they should have no problems getting you parts for your tractor. The B5100/6100/7100 has to be one of the most popular model series that Kubota made (up until the BX's), and there are a ton of them still out there, working away. Parts are plentiful.

Also I remember a thread about adding a large washer to the HST pedal assembly to keep it in place, but can't seem to find it right now.
Just for the help of others in the future. the neutral holder arm on the hydro pedal had play in it because of the bushing alone. I went ahead and replaced the bearing while I was in there. Pretty simple fix really.
