Need zerk size for the snowblower subframe

I have the L2185A front mount snowblower the mid-pto sub-frame and drive line, but not a manual. I have several grease zerks that need replacing. Does anyone know the zerks size and if they are metric or standard threads?

Considering that the snowblower is manufactured in Canada, I would be inclined to believe that they are metric. I suggest taking one out and going to NAPA where they have a good selection of both SAE and Metric grease fittings. This is what I did when I needed just one or two. If I were to need a lot, then I would purchase an assortment like this

Pull out your trusty caliper and measure the OD of the thread on the old fitting.

Might want to check the Messicks diagrams, they typically show similar info to what's in the manual. My L4479 has 1/4" Zerks and a mix of Imperial and Metric Hardware otherwise. A quick look at the L2185 doesn't show individual grease fittings, so I assume they're part of the pillow blocks, which on Messicks site show as "inch" size, so I suspect a Inch Zerk as well. Hope this helps.

BTW lots of stuff 'Made in Canada' is NOT Metric !!!

Even though we went 'metric' under the 1st Trudope, for say highway speed signs and distances whenever the cops say 'be on the lookout for this bad guy..... six foot two inches, weighs 210 pounds......
