especially if you are dealing with high voltages.

I haven't found a lot of high voltage on your typical tractor. At least, not on a Kubota.

Maybe on a John Deere? Because, you know, they're special.

Looks to me like Amazon is wrong, which is pretty common.

I recently bought an in-expensive Fluke 101 multimeter to keep in my Jeep tool box ($45) I have a Klein that was too complicated to operate.

As someone mentioned - the leads are very important, when trying to troubleshoot electrical issues on my Kubota in freezing weather, standard leads flexibility was like working with coat hangers!

I invested in Fluke TL175E silicone lead set - they worked so great I upgraded my other multimeters

The OP asked about a MULTImeter recommendation, not a test light probe for the tractor.

Feel free to plug yours into 600V service mains. This is effectively what some cheapo multimeters are, accidents waiting for a victim

Well, since he's not a professional electrician, and since there isn't a house anywhere in North America that has 600v running into it, I don't think that's really much of a problem.

Will be used on all the usual automotive (and yes, batteries), pumps, home electrical type stuff.
