I have a B2910 with a mid mount deck(rc72-27b). I’m replacing the blades and cup washers and wanted to make sure the cup washers will be installed correctly. Does one washer sit in the other (both cups in same direction) and the cup to the blade? (( then blade. Hope that makes sense.

On my BX mower, both washers are "cupped" towards the blade and seated within each other.

There's a proper name for them, and darned if I can come up with it right now....

Both cup UP towards the blade - nut "flattens" them out to a degree

yeah both face the same direction. They stack on top of each other. The "bowl" faces toward the blade (like a bowl of cereal)-

kubota calls them plate, spring. They used to call them "cone, spring" and before that, "spring corn". LOL
