If you guessed that I went to an auction today you're right. I won't know what I have until at least tomorrow. It is missing the left steering arm. It is stuck in gear. The bolts are loose so the shifter can be pulled to get it out of gear. When they were starting things before the auction I mentioned it was stuck in gear and not safe to start. Didn't want to hear it run and have the price go up. I got it for $850.
The good part is the hood is straight in the front. Mine is bent so they removed the latch and used a bungee cord. Mine runs sweet but needs a hydraulic pump. Since this one has shifter problems I am going to hope the pump is good. Maybe it is just a bent shifting fork like my 154 British Leyland had. Due to it's operators and probably the M5400 operators things get messed up. To be "politically correct" they are illegal aliens. Down here the correct name has something to due with their backs being wet crossing the river to get here.
I passed up a little Kubota that went for $450. It had been painted white and no markings. I would guess a B7200. The water neck was broken off for the top radiator hose. I wandered over just before it came up for bidding. There was smoke coming off the front of the engine. The valve cover was too hot to touch. A guy said they started it and walked away. When he saw it was running he went and got someone to shut it off. It had gotten very hot.
Just had to mention my newest addition. As said on another forum "some tractors have to give so others can live."
