M5140 Filter & Fluids costs

I can't seem to find much info regarding the Cost of filters & all Fluids for M5140 I have heard $250.00 as the aprox cost I have also heard aprox $450.00. I am looking at a used M5140 with under 700 hrs. with no service records I want to do a complete filter and Fluids change. What to figure the costs in my offer for the tractor. Thanks

Cost of everything would depend on how and where you purchase the materials, Kind of hard for us to give you that information.

I was not asking to the penny, I would think most would buy filters & oil where they thought they were getting the most for there buck?

I would guess the dealership might be a bit higher than say Messicks. ???????????

I buy all my filters and fluids locally, farm and fleet stores are the best, or you can get them at an auto parts stores.

I use Mystik JT5 and buy it when it goes on sale, I usually get it for around $40 per 5 gallon.
And filters, I have found Hastings filters for very economical.
Air, Oil and Fuel filters for around $50.

Bought a new 5140 and took delivery in april of 2015. At the recommended 50 hour mark I wanted to keep factory warranty intact so I bought all Kubota filters and local dealer sold me Kubota synthetic oils for the gear train. Imagine my surprise when the bill came in at around $450...........but my warranty is still good!!!

Won't do that again, next time it will be NAPA filters and some decent gear oil from the aftermarket.

Wow. I had heard 250 bucks for filters & Oils, but I also had also heard it was 450 bucks. I called my local Kubota Dealships part dept and asked the aprox cost for all filters & Fluids replacement and he said around 250. Can he be that lame or do you live in a high rent area???

Damn 450 bucks< after the 50 hr mark when is the next filter & engine change due? Will all the other fluids also require replacement or just the hydraulic fluids (UDT) I just bought a M5140 today has 660 hrs on it and I plan to do a "major" service on it, changing out all filters and fluids including the coolant.

Question: Do you have the filter part #s I will cross reference the Kubota UDT with my Lube & Fuel Jobber see if I can save a few buck I don't have an WSM manual am going to order one tonight. I don't even have the serial number will get that tomorrow

Question: Do you know when they quit building the M5140 ?

Well I stopped by Kubota and bought all filters and 15 quarts of UTF plus a can if Kubota orange paint plus tax cost me 478.28 to get out the door.

I bought 2.5 gals of engine Oil at Walmart for 38.15 bucks for a total of 516.43 I will have about 4 gallons of UTF left over.

But I can use that for topping up my other equipt.
