Looking to adjust the PTO clutch on an M4050. I have the Workshop manual, but it states pretty simply that if you have greater than 3/4" 'PTO clutch lever free travel' to 'Adjust by altering the length of the clutch control rod'. Has anyone completed this task? This being an older, short production model with an independent clutch (lever), there doesn't seem to be much info readily available. I pulled the cotter pin and washer from the top of the clutch control rod, but there isn't enough play at the bottom to slide it off the PTO clutch lever. It seems like either the entire clutch control rod or PTO lever needs to be removed to adjust? Thanks!
