Looking at an old B7500HST

Checked out an old 2003 B7500HST for a friend today. Equipped with a FEL, MMM, canopy on the ROPS. It fired up fine and the loader lifted the tractor. Looks like it is in good condition. Has 1960 hrs on it - owner is asking $9000 for it - OK asking price or high?

Little high for the higher hours, but not out of the ballpark either.

The bucket on the loader looks like it was never used. Being a Bush Hog brand would, in theory, bring the price down a bit. But it's HST, so that will spoil the operator.

See if any service records/history is available. If you can't get accurate info on hyd. oil changes, try to get it done or reduce the price to cover it to do yourself.

Price varies enough by location you almost have to check in your locale to know proper price. Keep in mind almost no one expects to pay asking price on anything, and therefore almost never is the listed sale price the price it sells for. Any negotiating skills at all will get that machine for no more than $8,500. On the other hand, if it's a bargain beyond belief, it won't be there when you call because the early bird gets the worm.

Mower looks like new, I looked at one few years ago that had 600 hours on it with only a FEL not as clean looking as the one in your pic. The seller was asking
5200..while I was there the last person that looked called the seller and said he was on the way with the money...guess I shouldn't have stop and got a Pepsi on the way. Good Luck with what ever you decide

Others have great advice. I don’t think you’re far off for my area. Hours are a little steep, but the tractor and attachments look good.
I would definitely look it over real good.
I can’t hold a candle to D2Cat’s negotiating skills, but a wad of 80 Benjamin Franklins would make the seller take pause...85 of them doesn’t hurt you either.
