New guy here. I am about to buy an L4310, 2001 year but... I really need the loader valve to be fender mounted. My right arm has a problem reaching the valve handle. Has anyone moved that valve to the fender? Or closer to the seat? Thanks.

Welcome to the OTT forum Walt. Glad you joined.

If I remember right, someone has but I can't find it right now. They will probably answer you shortly.

Could you please provide the model number of the loader. It is usually quite prominently visible on both loader arms. Perhaps LA681 or LA682.

Does the tractor have a cab?

I am wondering if this machine might have a cable operated joystick remote from the FEL valve. If so, perhaps longer control cables could put the joystick somewhere else more accessible.

After some looking around on Messicks.com, the LA682 loader has 3 possible control valve arrangements for a FEL

This is the illustration with the control cables to a remote joystick I am suggesting.

Can you either bend the control handle so it will be closer to you or weld a extension to it.
Agreed this would be the fastest, cheapest solution. Only consideration is range of motion increases with length which may be an issue for the OP.
