I have a 2000 L3710. Today the front loader started to rise very slow. Oil seems to be fine. Would it be the pump? Any way to check? Not sure where to start.

Might be wise to pressure test the hydraulics. That's the only real way to know what the pump is doing.

It could be your hoist cylinders. If the internal seals are leaking it's possible for fluid to leak by on the inside without any external leaks.

A friend has a L3710 HST. There is a valve under the right floor board. It has a slotted adjuster on the side of the valve. The purpose of the valve is to cut the flow of oil to the loader, when the loader is removed from the tractor. Somehow some brush or vibration moved that adjuster about 1/2 way off. The loader was very slow.

I have had the same thing happen that Milo described happen. It's a really easy fix. Another thing to check is your 3 point hitch lever. If it's coming back to far, it will dead head the hydraulics and slow everything down. If it's back to far, you should hear a whine in the hydraulics.

I looked at the tractor today. The loader is working normal but the three pt hitch is still not working. I am not sure where to look next.
