Hi all,
operator was driving tractor when it just stopped. On display it reads HST/Neutral. Check the pedal to make sure it is in Neutral. Tow the unit back to shop. Pull off the HST switch and check. Switch checks out. Normally open at rest and 0 resistance when depressed. checked other safety switch's. PTO, seat, brake, clutch all good. Engine will not turn over and HST/Neutral on display. I pulled the starter relay, jumped it and engine cracks but engine fuel shut off doesn't activate.
any help would be great. A bit stumped on this one.
thank in advance.

Most of the time this is the pedal joints needing cleaned and lubricated. They are supposed to be lubed prior to operation... every time, at least according to my local Kubota dealer. They should be cleaned every 10 hours or so, from the same source.

You pay for that convenient device in different ways!

You use the term HST switch? There is an Operator Presence Control Switch that is linked up to the HST pedal. On my tractor is is well to the rear of the HST pedal, near the hydraulic filter. If this switch hangs up, you will not be able to start the tractor. When the HST pedal is is the neutral position, the switch is depressed. Spray the switch button (has rubber boat) with lube and rock the pedal fwd and back noting the movement of the switch button. Mine was stuck in the forward position until is came free. Didn't see any updates from you, so hope you figured it out by now.
