Does anyone know the "center of hole" to "center of hole" distance for lower arms for an L35? I believe it is the same as an L39 or L3940.

Thanks,

Jim

I thought I should add more info to clarify my question.

I just bought a '99 L35 with a BT900 backhoe. It did not come with a 3 point hitch.

I am building a 3 point system and have most everything figured out except the length of the lower arms.

Does anyone know the length of the lower arms for an L35 or any other 30-40 Hp Kubota tractor?

The straight measurement on the lower lift arms on my L35TLB is 28 inches center to center. I have included a page from the parts book showing the hitch parts. I was fortunate when I bought my L35, I was able got the 3pt arms etc with it. Hope this helps. Don.... PS. and welcome to OTT

Don,
Thanks for the info. The parts manual you refer to is what I have been using as the basis for my design.

Would you think 27" would work? That's what I guessed based on the cartoons in the manual and I already cut metal...

I have not welded the heim joints yet so I could by more steel if needed.

Any chance you have an image of the setup?

27" from center to center @ 90 degrees is what my L3450 is.
You would be at about 26" if you use 27" strait, you should still be fine clearance wise, and if you do ever have an issue just put a Quick Hitch on it and you'll be fine.

I'll do my best to post images of my project once complete.

Thanks again for the advice. I figure I should offer some as well for future viewers of this thread.

The kit in this image does not fit this tractor! It was advertised to fit "most Kubota Tractors up to 40 Hp" as I remember it. I bought it based on the BS image and it turned out to be the what you see in the POS image and would be better suited for my riding lawn mower...

jasowiii- My buddy bought that exact set for his B2150- and you're right, it's a complete piece of crap. After hours of bending, cutting, welding, & drilling, it's useable, but he would have been way ahead to hunt down Kubota parts.

Update;

I cut the heim joints off the end of the POS (made in India, bought from MyTractorParts) lower arms and welded them to some 3/4" x 3" A36 Hot rolled steel.

Next I'll fab lift and stabilizer linkage from said kit (waste of $$). If I would have thought this through prior to clicking "add to cart" I could have done this for 1/2 the $$.

I finished painting this weekend after using my back blade and forks a little. The eye bolts for the stabilizer links are a little scrawny but I expect they will work.
If anyone set's out to do this I recomend using the highest quality peice parts you can find rather than dissecting a kit like I did.
