Does anyone know of a larger capacity PM alternator that will fit right on a L3200? As I am adding work lights I'm afraid I'll run out of juice.

Not sure about your model but my M 9000 has a mitsubishi alt. on it. I think I found one at local auto parts that will fit right on it for a little over $100.

Don't know how many lights you are wanting to add but my L 3000 has 2 sets of 55 watt added to it. I normally don't run both sets at the same time but I have done it without any battery problems.

Does your owners manual have the amperage listed, or perhaps the tag info on the alternator itself? I would guess on the size tractor it is somewhere between 35-40 amps, should be fine, my tractor has a alt with a 45amp output, with all the lights and aux lights on (I added 2 55watt halogen work lights) I draw a total of 26 amps (running). most of these tractor were wired for a work light(s) mine was, under the rear fender, that was energized with the key on, the fuse panel had a 10amp fuse circuit for the work lights already as well.

Thanks, guys.
I'll be adding 4 lights, two front and two back. I won't get home to do it until Christmas! The more I look, the easier this should be...:)
