The battery indicator light on a friends L2900 came on recently and has stayed on. I've checked the alternator, it is generating electricity and charging the battery. (lights etc. work when tractor is running even with battery disconnected.)
Before I tear the instrument cluster apart to hunt for broken connections, are there any common failure points that would cause this symptom?
