I have a L2650DT, was moving fine until last week, I added fluid in the transmission, removed filter and cleaned put it back in and still won't move in high range. It only crawls at idle in low range and in 1st gear. When I rev the motor it stops....Clutch issue???? Please help

Yep, clutch issue, I'll send you as link to download the WSM, it will tell you how to check and adjust the clutch and replace it if needed.

What your explaining sounds like the typical burned up clutch disk. ;)

What exact model L2650DT do you have? It does sound like a clutch thing. But before you split it, there are three different clutch versions on the L2650. The first version, L2650DT, has a dry two-stage clutch. The second, L2650DT-GST has glide shift, which has a single stage dry main clutch but also has a hydraulic shuttle (reverser). The third model L2650DT-WET has a fully hydraulic main clutch (larger and more robust than the hydraulic pack in the GST.) Are you confused yet?

If a dry clutch machine doesn't move, engine speed doesn't usually matter and it may well be time to dive deep. But if a GST or wet-clutch machine doesn't move, there are some hydraulic pressure tests to do first. Sometimes the fix doesn't require splitting the machine. Good luck, Dick B

I don't have a glide shift, I'm pretty sure it's not a GST, I believe those have a pedal on the left side for forward and reverse, I don't have that. It has 4 speed on the column and a two speed rear, and a regular clutch pedal. I attempted to adjust the clutch either way and still same results. It's adjustment is all the way in. I know when I checked the tranny fluid it was empty. I refilled it. I just bought the machine and it was fine for a month or so, and I really haven't even used it yet. Like I said it will move only at an idle and in low range, but as soon as I give some rpm's it doesn't move.

How would I know exactly which model it is?

Glide shift will have an 8 place gear shifter on the side of the left fender.
HST would have the forward / reverse Pedal.
Now the tricky part is if it's a DT or a DT-WET.
If the letters EC (ever clutch) in big bold print then it's a DT-WET

Give me the complete serial # should be by your right foot, and I should be able to give you the exact model #.

Doesn't have a 8 speed on left fender just high and low
No forward or reverse pedal
Didn't see an EC anyplace

Yes it's a L2650DT, just a simple dual dry clutch setup. ;)

Does your pto work nomally? If so maybe only the travel clutch disk needs replacing - (one disk costs way less than the whole dual assembly). Attached sketch is an alignment tool - needed when bolting the travel clutch back on with the tractor split. Take care, Dick B

Finally took machine apart it was the clutch, the whole assembly was rusted and the travel clutch was down to the rivets. Now to locate a complete set up at a good price
