I don't have a manual for this tractor yet (looking for suggestions beyond the owners manual) but when I put in the clutch, I can hear the RPMs drop a little, and it doesn't always drop into gear easily. It sounds like the throw-out bearing is not real good.
I took off the little cover, and see that it is not a bearing, nor does it look like a carbon bearing I have seen on IH tractors, and not grease fitting either. What does an old Kubota use, and it that normal. I have a photo, but it is hard to tell - looks like metal to metal.
Thanks
Frank
