I am replacing the rings on the power lift hydraulic piston. After pulling it apart my piston has one thick white coloured ring, but parts book shows two?The piston has only one slot, and the ring as fitted has about a 3mm gap in the slot where perhaps a second ring may fit. Is the book correct and one ring been missing from my piston from the past. I continue to enjoy the posts, any help will be appreciated.
