Has anyone relocated the fuel filter on their L2850? I have big hands and have a heck of a time replacing it and especially screwing the retainer nut back on. If so any pics of the relocation would be nice. Thanks in advance

I had problems with the filter on my L2550, and yes the filter isn’t in a very good place. I took mine off completely and for a temporary measure install in inline filter. I have a Racor diesel fuel filter which has a good water separator bowl, and when the weather warms up I’ll install it. I think I can place it just close to the old location but outside the covers.

I have one of those too and that is what I was planning on doing unless there is a better idea. I like the drain feature on the racor.
