I just purchased my first Kubota last weekend, a BX23S. I would like to add the Kubota bolt on edge to minimize wear on the bucket. I would also like to have a tooth bar, are the aftermarket bars compatible with the bolt on wear edge?

If you get the toothbar ...you will not need the extra edge. If you wear the toothbar out......the tractor will be in the multi 1000's hours!:D

I have the piranha toothbar on my Bx23s very happy with it. Easy to get on and off. They also sell a straight edge if you wanted both, and they mount the same way.

I've seen the bar from bxpanded but wonder if it's better than just a plain tooth bar for digging into a pile of hard rocky dirt? Then again I keep forgetting I have the hoe to do the actual digging and I should just use the loader for loading?
