John Deere Corn Head Grease. Opinions for gear lube?

Hey guys. Had an issue with my 6' bush hog leaking gear oil out. I used standard 90wt gear lube in it. The bush hog is less than 1 month old. It's been used 4 times. Think it's a manufacture defect. Anyway, the company I bought it from is giving me a new one.

After doing days of research on leaking gear houses on implements, I came across John Deere corn head grease. I even found a video on youtube that I included the link below for you guys interested in seeing it. This stuff looks amazing. Stays in place much better than traditional gear old. If you have a bad seal, it won't leak out without you realizing it until it's too late like regular gear oil. The +'s just seem endless on this stuff. My local JD dealer sells it for $3.50 a tube. I'm planning on using this in my new bush hog arriving tomorrow and may actually change out the gear oil I have in my roto-tiller and auger gear heads for this stuff.

Anyone have personal experience with this stuff. Do you recommend it? I called my local Kubota dealer and asked if Kubota sells anything similar. They said no but highly recommended the JD corn head grease as well.

Here is what a tube looks like.

Snapper 00 grease. Found at your small engine dealer. Think its similar.
Corn head grease looks like the answer for many applications.

A lot of folks use it steering gear boxes on 8n Fords because of seals leaking. They also call for 80W-90.
