I have an L47, it's a good bit different from the other Grand-L models but it's also obvious that there's a lot of shared parts too. Does anybody know if there's any way to add cruise control (even ex-warranty) to my L47?
99% of the time I *really* enjoy having HST and even when using ground-engaging implements or the brush cutter I wouldn't trade it for anything. But there's that 1% where it would be really handy. Most recently, it's been using the fertilizer spreader and row hipper where speed is pretty important. Tilling would be pretty handy too but most of the time I find that I Iike having the ability to instantly change speed down if I hit a heavier patch or need to skip over a big rock.
Anyway, hoping somebody here can tell me if there's a way to "jethro-fit" the cruise control from another model onto my unit. I know it's not available factory or as dealer option.
