!979 L245DT. We had an ice storm overnight. As a result, we were without power (till Wednesday, they said).

I have a pto operated generator that I use for these situations.

Some of you may recall, that I replaced my worn out hydraulic pump, with one that drives off the front of the crankshaft.

I figured that if I was going to be running my tractor for 3 or 4 days non-stop,
I might disconnect the hydraulic pump, to save wear and tear.

I'm trying to figure out if I would cause harm to anything, by running the tractor w/pto engaged, and no hydraulic flow?

No, It won't hurt anything. Most Kubota's and certainly yours, are splash lubricated by the whirling parts in there!
