I replace my bx 2200 with a b 7510. I service the B7510 with all new Hydrolic oil and filter when I got it. Was moving cruised stone with my new toy today and it seemed like I could smell Hydrolic fluid. Nothing was leaking, seemed like when I let the fel down rapidly. Is there a vent I'm smelling? Never got this smell with the BX2200. I have to say, the B7510 didn't break a sweat moving the stone in NH with 85 degrees out and super dry/dusty conditions. Love my new toy. :)

That normal, the vent is under the seat, if it's a cabbed model you can add a line to it and get it out past the cab.

The hydraulic system doesn't suck air in, Or not unless there is a hugh problem!
The smell from the vent is just from thermal expansion of the fluid in the sump, and yes a very small amount of fluid becomes vaporized and that's why you smell it. ;)
