I have a new to me 1994 B7100HST with a newer Woods LS-72 loader.

My question is that I don't know where to fill the HST fluid because the loader plumbing is routed to what would normally be the HST fill port parallel to the transmission fluid dip stick.

Are there any alternate locations I could use as a fill port or do I need to carefully detach the loader plumbing in order to refill the HST fluid.

If your just adding a little do it with a small funnel threw the dipstick hole, if a lot, pull the adapter fitting and fill it there.

My B7100 HST uses that same spot to return the oil from the loader circuit. It has a "T" fitting screwed into the top of the transmission. The oil return line goes into the side of the fitting and the fill plug screws into the top of the "T" fitting.

This won't help answering your question but my "new to me B5100E-P" had a torn gear shift lever boot and I suspected I would find water. I drained the fluid from the main transmission and the oil and water had mixed and a white foam came out. On the two axle reductions drains the water had not yet mixed.
I let all three drains drip for two hours. I also found water in the steering box:eek:

Yes I replaced the shift boot and my tractor now resides in my garage:D
