I have 10 hrs on the MX5100, I just put on my suicide knob and noticed that there is no set point. I mounted the knob at the bottom of steering wheel and when I make a full turn and then back to straight the knob ends up at top or on the side. Called the dealer and confirmed there is no set point like my L3700, just wanted to run it past you guys, because I obviously do not trust the dealer.

The L3700 has hydraulic assist steering and the MX5100 has hydrostatic steering, hence the difference. both tractors are working normal and nothing is wrong!

Eserv and your dealer are telling you right. It will take some getting used to but after a short while it will feel natural to you. You'll probably find that you like the steering on the new tractor better than the old one. The hydrostatic steering is alot stronger than the hyd assist type which can be nice as well. I have both types and at the end of a long day the hydrostatic steering really shines.

What they said, some people put more than one knob, I don't use them myself.
