I am thinking about adding another hydraulic pump (and take off the old one) and build a shaft to run off the front of the engine so i can increase my gpm to speed up my loader operation. Currently I have the belt driven pump for my fel.
Is there anybody out there that has done this? What would be a good gpm and pressure to run the pump at? Also I would like to be able to raise and tilt my bucket at the same time. Would that be in the valve or the pump not having enough output? I believe my loader is similar to a b219 just a japanese version.
Anybody know the specs on these belt driven pumps?
Is there another belt driven pump with higher capacity that would work?

Your loader is a B206 made by ARPS and driven by a Cessna pump, GPM about 8 and pressure about 800, sounds like you need to freshen up the pump, around $50 should cover it and a cog toothed belt to help keep it cool when running, another $15.

What oil are you running? the colder it is the slower they move till warmed up.

I am running that utd oil (its all fresh with a clean screen) I believe that is the oil that Kubota reccomends. I didn't realize that pump was 8 GPM. I thought it was about half that. So at 8 GPM that should operate fairly quickly shouldn't it? Maybe what I also need is a control valve if it is giving priority? Do I get those parts you mentioned from Kubota or is there an online source? I suppose I could be a little impatient while plowing snow since its still cold but it just seemed really slow. Do you know if both functions should work at the same time. I have been tossing around the idea of getting a new valve with a float function. I also read that regen would hell too although I am not sure what that would do.
Thank you very much for the help so far. I have searched quite a bit for specs on that pump but maybe since I didn't know what I was looking up I wasn't getting the answers I was looking for.

Some people are switching to synthetic oils for the cold starting because of the ease, just today I ran my 7100 with 219 loader, heated for 2 minutes and it still grumbled for 30 seconds, it was 40 degrees here and I'm running 30 weight oil in the loader, and yes it moved slow so maybe you don't have a problem.

I wouldn't mind freshening it up if I knew where to get the parts. I am pretty sure the utd I am running is synthetic. I also may check my pressures and freshen up the control valve. Does your loader operate both functions at the same time? I think I would feel like it was faster if I could get it to do that.

UDT is not synthetic, you need to go to Super UDT2 to get into synthetic Kubota oil.

Thanks for the help! Now if I can just get the pulley off that I am having trouble with Lol. I will order one of those kits. Super udt is what I am running. Just couldn't remember what it was called off hand.

So I finally got my pump off and I am looking at the numbers on the mounting flange and they are as follows.... G24140 0BAB 5B 49 MS. Does this still sound like the same pump you have? Kind of a tiny little thing.
