How do you disassemble this part?

Working on a broken front wheel housing on a BX-1500 and I can not for the life of me determine how to disassemble this. I have taken out the ring clips and all the items I can see. But before I do any more damage by trying to force the two pieces apart with a wedge I had better ask here.

In the bottom picture is that the remnants of a circle clip holding the bearing in?

The last picture, that bearing comes out.
A little persuasion and it should slip out.
Otherwise a slide hammer with a couple hooks to go in the slots and grab backside of bearing.

I think a good slam facedown on a workbench is how i got the last one apart.

There should be a snap ring which holds the bottom pivot assembly into the upper. Some good quality snap ring plyers should pop it off and let you separate that.
