Here’s another forst for me,.... working with tractor backing up in woods and it’s like it’s “locked” in reverse. Pedal is hard as a rock. Can’t move it. Can anyone help me? No sticks jammed in linkage as I looked on right hand side below pedal linkage and it’s clear.

Thank you in advance!!

Check on the left side too, as there is a rood that goes all the way through the trans and I've seen sticks jammed in that side too.

Look at the neutral link section and the damper too, seen those bent.

This is an HST?

Go to https://apps.kubotausa.com/illustrated-parts/ agree to legal, and put in model number. Will show you the linkages for the pedal.

You were in the woods, leads me to something getting bent in the linkage.

If it's an HST, may have a "Damper" attached to the pedal linkage.

If disconnected temporarily, may help troubleshoot where the linkage is binding. May be the damper itself is binding.

Something's causing the pedal to be stiff. But what could it be? You'll need to look really hard at all of the linkages. Usually you can shut the engine off and manually shift the transmission without the engine running--UNLESS it's in a bad bind.

Can’t seem to upload a photo but no sticks found. Can’t locate a thing on the pedal parts diagram except older model L3200’s. Anyone have any thoughts?

Not sure how you’d shift a hydrostatic transmission?
