Looking for a grille guard for a new l3901. With a L525 loader it would be Kubota part # L2258. I am seeing plenty of aftermarket guards (Lown performance, Hoober, 5 eleven designz) I can't find a picture of a OEM guard to compare with the aftermarket guards. Thanks for any help.

You can't find it because Kubota never offered one.

Also, check out the info in the fabrication section - not hard to make yourself and have it look pretty decent. I have been collecting ideas, pics, and materials and will be doing one for mine soon.

I ourchased a Lown guard for my L3901. Very pretty but also very pricey. The 11ga steel has not faired well in my usage and not nearly as pretty now. if I had it to do over i would fabricate my own and make it much heavier.

Which Lown did you go with? Just the expanded metal/mesh one, or one of the heavier-duty variants?

Oh wow! Looks like it took one for the team -- what happened to cause that, and what do you think would make it fare better -- just thicker steel?

Its taken more than one for the team. In all fairness it does its job - my radiator and grille are intact. and the chin guard has made a handy chain box. But its 11ga sheet with lots of airy cutouts and no match for serious brush. Which BTW neither is the hinged OEM grille guard that it is bolted to.

Buy the Lown performance one, please.
It's made in my hometown, I know the owner and he's someone who will appreciate your business.
All mine had expanded steel prior to me meeting him.
