I've got a 3540 with a loader. Is a grapple bucket just a plug and play item. I have never taken my quick attach bucket off. I assume you take it off and put grapple on. Plug into controls and your control one way moves up and down and the other way open and close jaws instead of tilting bucket?

Wish it were that easy, you need a 3-rd function valve. The grapple opens and closes with hydraulic cylinders.

As mentioned above you need another circuit on the loader to operate the grapple, usually cost $600-$900, many threads here on that. If you have a rear remote, you can run long hoses from that for a lot less money.
