I been looking at John deer X500 series mowers and am now considering the GR2120. Is everybody that has one, happy with it. I know the older version had leak issues.

What all are you intending to do with the tractor? Both the options are quite salty. I know the 2120 lists at over $9000. It may be possible to get a larger, lightly used machine for not much, if any more money. In passing glance, the Deere looks bigger to me.
Mowing 2 acres. Thinking about a Snow blower or blade for it.
Just sold my L3240 and am not looking for another tractor. Been looking at Deere mowers and love to have a X758. Just not willing to pay that much. X500's are about the same price range as the Bota, but with less standard features, like 4wd/diesel and more. I'd love to buy american made, but sometimes it's hard to do

I strongly recommend you at least take a look at a BX1870. With a 54 inch MMM they're selling for just a few hundred dollars more than a GR2120. Especially since you mentioned snow blowing and pulling/pushing a blade. Just my two cents. YMMV. Good luck with your decision.

Had a bad Deer experience and went back to Kubota and the dealer i had bought 2 tractors from in the past. Took the GR2120 for a spinn today and the 4 WD along with the diesel blew me away. Should have done that before looking at the green stuff! Signed the papers and might have it later this week. Cant wait....
